simg2img.exe – convert sparse .img to raw
MixPlorer (Android app) – inspect partitions on rooted phones
Notepad++ or any XML/PROP editor – edit config files like build.prop, fstab, etc.
WinMerge – compare and patch .rc, .xml, and vendor files
